Place your shower curtain, and wash it on a gentle setting.

Once done, you can simply hang your shower curtain back on the rod and allow it to air dry. We do not recommend drying your shower curtain in the dryer.
Can you wash your plastic shower curtain?
Yes, you can absolutely wash your plastic shower curtain too. However, it’s important to note that you need to wash it slightly differently. First and foremost, you need to wash it on a cool setting. Secondly, we advise that you wash the curtain with one or two towels, and it should never go in the dryer.
Otherwise it is the same as the above steps. Instead of white vinegar, you can also use colour-safe bleach or baking soda. Bleach is particularly good if you are looking to kill mould spores or remove mildew.
How to clean shower curtain rings
While you are at it, why not clean the shower curtain rings too? You can easily wash these while your shower curtain is in the washer. Your shower curtain rings are exposed to just as much steam, soap scum and dust as your shower curtain, meaning they can get quite dirty. Luckily, they are super easy and quick to clean, so you’ll have them sparkling clean in no time.
We think the best and easiest way to clean your shower curtain rings is by filling your bathroom sink with hot water and a cup of white vinegar. Allow your rings to soak in the water while your curtain is in the wash. Once, they have soaked long enough, drain the sink and rinse the rings in warm water. You can use your fingers to rub off any soap scum or other dirt that remains.
